Chickadee Peekaboo!

I love having a bird feeder that mounts into the window casing, although it does present some unique problems. The first is that try as I might to keep the window clean, the birds love to smear seed goop all over the place and they remain constantly dirty. The other major problem is that the side of the house is perpertually dirty with....well, bird droppings!

Although a window mounted feeder would seem the perfect platform for getting closeups of birds, it is not. As soon as the birds detect the camera and me, they immediately pass the word on and suddenly, my camera and I are the only ones around!

This little Chickadee stopped *just* long enough to try for a capture. It isn't a good photo, but today was another busy day, and I barely had time to sit still!
