Best laid plans....

I had great plans this morning to go out a bit earlier on my way to the Excel Centre and take some photos in the daylight at Royal Victoria dock. Lots to photograph, but what I hadn't factored in was the fog! It was like pea soup, couldn't see a thing, so photos were out of the question.

Spent the whole day till about 7 pm at a conference - didn't get out in the daylight at all. Incidentally, a colleague flew down from Scotland, got an early flight which ended up circling City airport for an hour and a half due to the fog before diverting to Stansted! He wasn't very happy - catching the 6.45 am flight and not getting there till mid afternoon!

I took this blurry photo on the way out of Excel and it's just as well I did as it's the only photo I've got to blip today.
