Riddle me this, riddle me that.....

.....who's afraid of the big, bad bat?

There's a colony of black flying foxes just outside of town. They're camped on the edge of a creek among the mangroves and there are thousands of them. Every time I drive past I think I should check them out and today I did.

I wasn't expecting to get this though - what a lucky find!

Might be a bit sporadic with the blips over the next week or so. Off to explore the charms of the Gold Coast indulge in theme park madness and see what real shops look like! I'm really looking forward to catching up with a school friend who lives there now :)
