Manchester's Finest

Earlier this month we celebrated my Grandmas 80th Birthday with a trip to the Bridgewater Hall to see a Last Night of the Proms concert. As an extra treat, we had afternoon tea at Manchester's Midland Hotel. I'd previously never been to this hotel but had heard very good things about it. It didn't disappoint.
I didn't have chance to take any pictures of the building on the day, and I wanted some for my scrapbook, I was passing on my way to a meeting today so I captured a few shots.
Productive visit to Manchester - v.useful work meeting plus lunch with my previous colleagues, one of whom announced that she's pregnant! Very happy and exciting news.
