I ended up staring at this little ant for 10 minutes. The poor caterpillar was still alive but barely. The ant was trying to take off its head, but he only got through the edges. Something was still connecting the head and the rest of the Caterpillar. It would twitch when the ant tried to bite through the only connected piece. I wonder if the ant ever dislodged its head.
