Tante Regine

let me introduce to you: Tante Regine!

Yesterday I was still 'just Regine', but this morning one phone call changed my title ;) my brother in law called to tell me my sister gave birth to two boys yesterday evening (on the 23rd! my lucky number!) so from now on, I'm an auntie! (Tante in Dutch).

After the phone call I cried for hours... not really the response I expected :) but the last couple of days have been pretty emotional and I have been worried a lot about my sister and the boys. I'm very glad everything went well :)

I really didn't feel like working so I asked my boss if I could take the day off, and she totally didn't mind :) So I bought some flowers and went to visit my mom.

Even though I am more than happy and very overexcited about my nephews being born, I was also a little bit sad that my mother wasn't there and will never see the boys. Visiting my mom felt good, I just sat there for a while.

After that I went to Waranda, a very pretty forest/park close to my moms place, for a walk. There I made this photo. I'm not sure what that little building in the middle of the park was, but I like the reflections and decided to capture the 'new me' ;) Is it showing already, that I am an auntie now?

My sister and brother in law didn't want any visitors today, very understandable, but I hope I will be able to visit them and the boys in the coming days! I'm so curious, cannot wait to meet them!
