100th blip...
...which means we've been here for 98 days. Oh dear. The time is already going by too quickly.
The Eiffel tower sparkles like this for 10 minutes starting on the hour every hour. Today was so foggy that the top was completely hidden. It reminds me of the painting Seurat did of the tower (see this link for it.)
I got a lot done today. The book review I've been working on is finally done and the journal issue I am editing is in good shape.
Ch's friend came over to play after school today and Th kindly babysat the girls while I ran out to an *excellent* lecture by art historian Fae Brauer at the University of London Institute in Paris. It was just past 5pm, on my way there, when I crossed the pont Mirabeau in front of the sparkling tower...
