10 things I'm thankful for
1. My fave who likes me for some reason. A relationship doesn't really end and it's not a work in progress... it's a play in progress.
2. Grateful to be alive for the moment.
3. Don't have to go to work Monday to Friday and weekends. It took time to get here and it wasn't easy.
4. The Internet, new technology, iPhone... they allow for barriers to fall away, enabling more people to get to know and hopefully understand each other better. A greater, more wonderful future lies ahead for the human race!
5. Siblings, relatives. Although I hardly ever get in touch with them no one has disowned me yet, as far as I know. Maybe not push my luck. Call somebody.
6. Friends. Do I really have any friends? Facebookwise, yes. Blip pals, artists friends. Whoever I happen to meet on the street or anywhere, there is the potential for human interaction, one of life's pleasures.
7. Although the news media focuses on disasters, wars, destruction, politics, etc, I think the planet is a great place to be living in. It is full of wonderful behind-the-scenes stuff going on all the time. There is beauty in the most ordinary thing. And what a great variety of people! Makes life more interesting.
8. Thankful for whatever time I have left on planet earth.
9. Though I have yet to figure how to make tons of money, for now it's sufficient. Money means more freedom.
10. Don't have to go out in the rain for a blip or a song.
Old little abstract piece. Oil and pentel on wood.
