Gobble, Gobble, Gob.....

As just about eveyone knows, today is Thanksgiving in the USA. It's a major US holiday. Our families usually get together, show our appreciation for the lives we are able to lead. We said a prayer for the several very sick people in our family, for appreciation of our military which preserves our freedom, for the welfare of those we love, and we pray for peace in the world.

After that, we eat. The 20 pound turkey you see above has been reduced to about 8 or so lunches and maybe turkey soup from the carcass. We don't waste much.

Life is not easy, but we are definitely fortunate to live as well as we do.
