It's Christmas!

Edinburgh's Christmas kicked off today and I left work just in time to hit the crowds as they dispersed after the opening event. The Christmas market has evolved over the years from a small alternative to the commercial tat on offer in the shops, to a large, popular market offering it's own range of tat. It seems that every man and his dog now offers mulled wine and lebkuchen, which should be a good thing, but I'll reserve judgement until I've had a chance to sample them all.
