The Real Master & Commander
The Pensioner brought my attention to the Lord Cochrane exhibition at the NMS. So I headed up there for some nosing around. I had the exhibition to myself, except for the staff member who watched me closely as I examined the blunderbuss and cutlass.
The weather in the streets was quite mucky, with frequent squalls of rain interspersed with bright sun. I'm glad I'm not in a boat off the Hebrides, some phenomenal waves out there apparently. Although I'm sure Thomas Cochrane would've coped.
