An ancient beach
This place on mount Rönnåsen in Gästrikland is today more than 200 m above sea level. But just after the big ice melted away from the Scandinavian peninsula about 10 000 years ago, the sea was roaring here. Quite fascinating. In the old times these places were called "the devil's fields".
