Redecoration

Today we started the task of transforming Tom's old bedroom into a guest bedroom cum work room (for Linda's handicrafts).

It has taken most of the day to empty and remove the wardrobes and drawers (did Tom actually take anything with him?) and lift the old carpet and underlay.

How do these TV DIY Makeover programmes manage to strip, redecorate, recarpet and refit entire rooms in a day?
