Wick Vikings

The Lerwick Jarl squad of 'Up Hella' fame brought the traffic in Wick's high street to a halt this afternoon. Quite a sight to behold with their shields, axes, armour and swords. Not forgetting the replica Viking longship which was being towed on a lorry trailer behind them.

The replica Viking longship will have been burnt tonight during a special event known as 'Da Doonie', Caithness's day of celebration, of it's Norse heritage.
