Shop Window at Rush Hour

The Foxtons shop window on Clerkenwell Rd is a beacon of bright lighting and strong modern design on a cold dark evening. I wouldn't say i support their slightly questionable professional practices, but i am pleased they support good design.

On the same street, about 100 yards to the east, is the Vitra furniture shop which hosts its annual sale tomorrow morning at 9am. This is to furniture collectors what the launch of a new iProduct is to Apple fans. There will be queues forming as early as midnight tonight with some people sitting in tents to keep warm. The deals are amazing, for example the Eames DSW chairs x4 reduced from £1000 to £250... that is a very good deal indeed. However we're gonna wait until next years sale before we join the queue.

On the camera front i was very excited to collect the Canon 24mm f2.8 lens from the shop today. It will be used this weekend for sure... I cannot wait. Off to see friends in Poole tomorrow so i'm hoping for good light.
