Be honest, does my butt look big?

The alarm went off today at 4 am, and off I went with my neighbor to buy socks at half price. Crazy? Maybe. I was fast asleep in my warm bed at midnight when all the really crazy people were out, so maybe not so much.

Amazingly enough, somewhere between the wind and cold at 4:30 am and when we were having breakfast after completing the Black Friday shopping at 8:30, the sun came out. It was beautiful. A trip to Northwest Trek was in order. Luckily lots of the animals were out and about, lots of photo opportunities to be had. We even got to watch the cougar out stalking birds and jumping up into a cedar tree and breaking off branches. Mount Rainier was out in all her glory as well. I wish I could share all the shots, but I had to pick just one.
