Wham..Bam..Thank you, Mam

Thank you all for your comments on yesterday's 200th blip, most appreciated, made it to spotlight - 1st time for everything.

had to come back from Kaikoura early -nothing serious,just had to come back.
bummer.

Bam...
it pays not to talk with the City Council and questioning their direction on earthquake issues before going on holiday...no faster than coming out of my mouth about potholes and CV joints - our CV joint disintergrates on the way back from Kaikoura, I had hit an unseen pothole on the way home from work the previous night, however, the car seemed to be ok on the way up!! Not so on the way back....we made it to the Mudhouse Winery, proceeded to call the AA and had lunch whilst waiting for their arrival. Along came John in a pink Pick Up Truck,Julie's eyes were bigger than at the waterfall shot.Because of an accident along the motorway we had a tiki tour of Sefton, Rangiora,Kaiapoi to get back to Christchurch with car in tow...Julie waving madly to everybody, sitting in the Pink truck.

In the Pink Pick Up truck on this incredible journey back to Christchurch my cellphone rang...about...a contest I had completed weeks ago. Lo and behold...I had WON...a trip for two to Auckland, a nights accomodation and tickets to a celebrity charity event, fly back the next day. WOW LOL:)

The ying and yang of life just never ceases to amaze us.
