Election Day 2011

Today is Election Day in New Zealand.
Yes, we voted.
Polls not closed yet - will be watching TV tonight to see who our Government will be for the next 3 years.


The lady on our $10 note is Kate Sheppard. She led the women's suffrage movement in New Zealand - and thanks to her, in 1893 NZ became the first country in the world to give women the vote.
