Handmade lace work

Another find from my uncle's house.

A small cotton case with some handmade lace on it. Gran had a friend who became a nun, and Gran visited the sister annually, at her convent. Something about this little case reminded me of Catholic vestments. I'll never know, but I won't part with it.
