Tucson Cathedral
Our last day in Tucson. It was 112° F - even the windows seemed to be melting. Still, it feels better than Atlanta in the summer, because of the lack of humidity.
We saw the cathedral, and managed to coax Tucson Jim out of the hills to visit a very brightly-painted shopping/office area downtown this afternoon. He loves his colors, so it was definitely his kind of place, photographically.
We also visited the local photography museum - there were several Ansel Adams', some Winogrand's, some Atget's, one Doisneau, and an exhibit on Friedlander's monument photos. Very nice.
The long drive home begins tomorrow.... Ugh.
