When Saturday Comes

Very hard game today, drew 1-1 at home to Dowlish and Donyatt. Ahead of them in the league only on goal difference, we knew it would be a physical battle but fancied our chances.

Up hill and into the wind 1st half was very hard work so was happy for things to be scoreless at the break. The chairman put us 1-0 up 10 minutes into the 2nd half and I really thought we were going to hang on and grind out the win.

Alas 8 minutes to go they got a break and levelled things up. After that we had a clear penalty turned down but that was that. Big blow to our promotion hopes and have to view it as 2 points dropped.

The positive is we are playing well and improving week on week. We'll learn from it and move on.
