O I do like to be beside the seaside...
As I've had this silly cough for a while, and can't go back into hospital, I decided to whisk Caitlin away for a few days to see my parents in Cornwall. I ended up staying a couple days more than planned, but it was great.
We decided to go to Seaton beach yesterday and build sandcastles. And dodge the wave, but unfortunatly, this ended in tears, and Caitlin being stripped right down to her pants, being bundled up in my coat as we drove home to warm her up! We came back home today. This is my Dad and Caitlin.
Imogen - Alex is looking after her, and boy what a time he has had. Poor little mite in total now has had 5 lumbar punctures, 1 more CT scan, another MRI and two ops. The first op was to put in an ommaya reservoir to avoid having to do all these lumbar punctures. However, a week after she had the first one done, they found out it's not working, so she had to have another op to have a new one fitted. Fingers crossed this one works. Apparantly they never fail, well if anyone is listening up there, please give my little girl a break. Just speaking to Alex via Skpe and she is doing well. Alex is bearing up as well, but I think he will sleep for about a week once he gets out.
Bike - Well, this has not been ridden, for obvious reasons, but it's also had to go. Alex and Imogen had to change rooms last week, and sadly, the room is slightly on the small side so won't be able to accomodate the bike. Better find a Wi Fit...
