Made us of Historic Scotland's St Andrew's Day free passes. Allows access all weekend to some of their properties. Great offer.
All they have to do now is move St Andrew's Day to sometime more summery instead of November 30th!
Is was blowing a gale and threatening rain all day.
Was going to head to Edinburgh Castle. But decided to Craigmillar Castle instead.
Easy to drive and park there just in case the heavens opened.

The castle itself is relatively small. But it's one of my favourites. Great to explore the many nooks and crannies. It dates back to the 14th Century and is "famous" for Mary Queen of Scots staying there.

Good to see so many folk visiting... wonder why that could be ;-)
