Packing

Busy getting ready to fly to France tomorrow, so here's a quick shot of our cat sunning herself.

Unfortunately, not a planned trip or vacation: my mom just had surgery, following a diagnosis of breast cancer, so I'm going back to help her recover and then she's coming back with me for a month -- before she has to return for further treatment.

The operation seems to have gone well; no spread to lymphnodes, so that's good. Mom and I will arrive back at her appartment at about the same time: me directly from the airport after a 16-hr overnight journey from the States and she directly from a week-long stay at the hospital. Not sure which one of us will be in the worst state...
