had another morning out on cockatoo island at outpost - the weather has finally cleared up after a week of rain. so was nice to be out in the sunshine.

cockatoo island is the largest island in sydney harbour and it's (post european arrival) history is one of convicts and incarceration and ship building - it was the largest shipbuilding yard in australia.

this is the main huge space with a somewhat frightening installation of a complete house with eerie soundtrack and skull painted on the front. surprised emme wanted to go back for a second look...
