Sunny Sunday morning
I awoke this morning feeling more normal, at last. As the curtains were drawn the expected sunshine forecast for today was absent behind scudding low clouds. But it didn't take long for the clouds to start to break up and patches of bluer sky to appear in the background.
I went downstairs to make us coffee, taking the camera and as I poked my head outside the back doors which are made of glass, I felt the warmth of the sun and noticed the layers of the clouds all seeming to have their own direction of movement.
I have been trying to learn some more subtle skills, digging deeper into the manual and seeing if I can take greater and better control of my images. Sadly, I don't think I managed today, although I like this picture because it at least shows the big sky, the unusual cloud layers and the early morning sun on the south side of the Golden Valley. I hope to do better, eventually.
