Lucky strike

To be honest I was just tidying up my gear, ensuring batteries werent too low and memory cards were in and lenses weren't too mucky.

I snapped a shot just like this a noticed the reflection looked quite good So I upped the exposure comp' to +1, took another and was pleased to see the reflected part was still looking nice whilst the rest of the image had been blended away somewhat, taking attention away from it.
I suppose this was because I was using evaluative metering which accounts for the whole frame, and, as the darker reflection was just a percentage of the much lighter overall image it still looked quite good given the extra stop.
