I made some chocolates this morning for us to have with coffee after lunch today. We had lovely visitors coming for lunch. I don't often make chocolates for us at home.

I was thinking to myself as I was rolling them that they would probably be presented as "they're just vanilla truffles, nothing special" which true to form, was pretty much what I said about them.

If they'd been in a box on a shelf though, they'd have been "Handmade Madagascan Vanilla Bean truffles, hand rolled in Sao Thome single origin dark chocolate"

Do you ever get the feeling we get a bit too Dervla Kirwen M&S Ad about everything in this country nowadays?
