Sunday Stroll

We decided to take a relatively flat route for our walk. We set off along the canal, which has no locks and follows the contours of the land. Then a gentle rise up to the reservoir where we had our sandwiches, tea and of course our carmel wafers.

We came across this smartly dressed and kind hearted gentleman. If you would like to know what he was doing then you will need to go here.

We then headed over to Moore Nature Reserve hoping to see a murmuration of starlings. We had seen a viewers video on Autumnwatch had been filmed there. We didn't see the starlings, we were in the wrong part of the reserve! But we did see a couple of birds of prey and a large flight of cormorants settling down for the night.
