Cupola

This is the cupola of a former church near where I live. You can just make it out between the trees in my blip of the view from my kitchen window. It's illuminated at night and really adds to my view.

The cupola is much the nicest part of the church - otherwise it's an ugly lump of a building. I don't know what will happen to the church now that it's for sale or perhaps even sold - but whatever they do, I hope they keep the cupola and I hope they keep it illuminated at night.
