Honk!

It has been a good day today! This morning I had a nice lie in followed by a really lovely brunch and managed to do a bit more catching up with stuff.

Then, this afternoon we decided to go out to The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust Nature Reserve in Llanelli. We had heard that there were spectacular displays of many thousands of starlings doing the impressive displays they tend to do this time of year.

We were not disappointed! It really was a great display, but sadly I did not manage to capture it very well on camera. In fact I seem to have had trouble focussing all day! This happened a few weeks ago too and I really don't know why - half the shots are in focus and half not!

Ah well......me and my camera ineptitude strikes again! ;-) Instead you get this friendly goose who ate seeds out of my hand and posed for a quick blip :)

Still a little catching up to do but I am fairly pleased that I have managed to do MOST of what I planned to do this weekend and it has had some very enjoyable bits too :)
