Ferocactus

I am no expert on cactus species identification, but my guess is this is a Compass Barrel Cactus, species cylindraceus. It amazes that me that even out in full desert sun, these plants lean toward the sun as if they aren't getting enough. Saguaro Cactus in the background in Sabino Canyon.
