Breakfast Table

We were very kindly given an American style breakfast this morning, cooked by Joe, which consisted of streaky bacon, pancakes and hot maple syrup - it was delicious. The tea lights and their holders proved to be a good chance for me to explore the depth-of-field on the 50mm lens, this shot was taken at f1.6.

Following breakfast we went out to see Fiona run in a 10k charity race at Moors Valley Country Park. Well done Fi for doing it in 54mins. There is also a Go Ape tree-top adventure playground there which the 4 kids explored with great enthusiasm after the race.
