This was our second night in Abderdeen and we went for our dinner to Chiquito's, really really lovely. Both mum and carol have been previously and not always enjoyed it, but, this time they said it had been redecorated and in general seemed much more organised. My steak did come out well done despite me asking for med/rare (yes steak two nights, but I cant cook it great at home so thought why not.) It was so much nicer than the TGIF's steak meal and when it was redone it was really so yummy.
The new décor included these really cool lights made up from beer bottles, I loved them... if I could have pinched one I prob would have but with all my freebies from the Hilton (shower gel, slippers) couldn't really sneak in a bottle light.
The rest of the night was really nice, although we all headed straight back to our rooms. My meal wasnt the only cold/wrong one - bad luck two nights in a row - so we had actually been in the place from 7pmish and only left at 9.45pm so my nanny and a few other golden oldies were feeling sleepy. Me and logs had an evening nightcap and snuggled up and watched the itv2 repeat of the x factor in our king size bed.
Perfect, even got a back rub. I really do love my man :)
