My little universe

runs at a different speed from the one we all live in.
In my little universe, time goes too quickly when I have my boys around.
It has been a productive day today though despite the speedy passage of time.
James did a monster homework session - 5 subjects, 2 and a half hours. All done and feeling plenty pleased with himself for being "free" from 2pm with nothing else to worry about.
I have managed to complete the christmas shopping (except for my Nana who needs some serious thought with regards to presents) without leaving the house. Christmas dinner is also sorted.
I even managed to do the ironing and get a pile of work done!
The measure of my weekend though is that I have found time to sit, to relax and to read. I feel a bit more human despite my body's attempts to make me feel otherwise.
I'm sure tomorrow, my little universe will turn pear shaped at some point.
