Pretty girl on train

Took an evening train across to Leeds for the two day recording session to make my next album at Valley Wood Studios with the wonderful Barkley & Katherine. The train was packed with people and I couldn't resist snapping this girl & her friend who were crouched by the doors having an animated conversation. I like the colours here. I don't remember the train journey as being a particularly colourful one as I was jam packed in by the other doors, standing up and bodily protecting my two guitars, staring out of the black window at occasional lights whizzing past. They wonder why people don't like to take public transport in this country? Over £16 for a single ticket on an hour's journey, standing room only? You really wouldn't get conditions like this in Holland or Germany or on Spanish trains...Crazy, this country sometimes...
Anyway it's time for me to do some work so preparatory sleep is definitely called for!
