Seeds
I arrived home to a load of open pollinated seeds from Irish Seedsavers in Scariff, Co Clare.
They constantly support us in our efforts to grow and multiply seeds in Malawi.
It is impossible to buy OP seeds in Malawi, the place is polluted by hybrids.
OP seeds can be saved and sown again, and again by farmers, saving on cost. They can be shared and exchanged between farmers and villages.
They are the seeds of the rural poor, the conservation farmers and maybe those who will eventually save the soil and the planet.
We are making a tiny effort, but so are many others. Can you help?
