Hamilton Island

What a day! I've now been awake for 21 hours and counting... but must blip before i forget.

Finally landed in Hamilton Island at lunch time and it is HUMID! Spent the afternoon running (hooning) around the island in golf buggies on an Amazing Race of sorts. Lots of fun but we were all ready for a long cold shower by the end of it. Dinner was at the Yacht Club with some world renown chef whose name i can't recall. Lots of yummy fresh seafood and plenty of bottomless glasses of wine was topped off by a surprise performance by Katie Noonan.

Then the night really began! Off to the Islands nightclub which was booked out just for us. More drinks and LOTS of crazy dancing ensued. Yes, another shower was needed when we returned to the hotel room.

Another early start tomorrow, then my flying visit comes to an end.
