Tea, cake and family

This is my Auntie and Uncle. My lovely Auntie has cross stitched the most gorgeous sampler for Baby Sam so we went over to pick it up. We have been trying to get there for ages but life has got in the way.

She has made one as a gift for my other two children but this is my favourite by far, its just lovely. The pattern has two foxes on it but she changed them as my chickens were eaten by foxes and she thought it best to leave them out.

My uncle and cousin went to watch the troops march back into Lichfield. He said it was incredibly moving.

I bought my Auntie a cake stand, she is a great baker and has been doing it forever.....even before it got popular again. Her slice of Victoria Sponge was excellence in itself. She loved the cake stand and proclaimed it one of the most beautiful things anyone has ever bought her. Bought a tear to my eye.
