Starting as we mean to go on as we gather in Glasgow to celebrate my wee sis's 40th!

Great journey up today - despite not realising there's two stations in Birmingham and deciding to get off at the wrong one - with the most hilarious taxi journey with one of my sister's friends - who I'd met at the right station in Birmingham - being thoroughly bemused by his broad accent and not having a clue what he was saying - or indeed what I was saying in return! Culminating by being met at the front door with some beautifully chilled fizz.

Eight of us then headed out for dinner at Stravaigin. Delicious!

And very late to bed.
