Smoke on the Water

Back blip - went to see Deep Purple at the LG Arena in Birmingham last night so got back a bit too late to blip!

Not really a long time fan - but we hadn't seen any live music for ages and fellow blipper Life of Pontycyclops put the idea in my head when he went to see Pink Floyd earlier in the year. Really enjoyed the support act too - Cheap Trick, who did a great version of Magical Mystery Tour as well as their old classic Want You to Want Me.

Both bands looked like they were enjoying themselves on stage & it was really good to hear such skilled musicians playing.
