Rite of Passage
One cannot be an Edinburgh photographer and not blip the Ferris Wheel at Princes Street Gardens, Christmas Fair. I did not want to buck tradition. Please do see it large.
So here it is viewed from the top of North Bridge. The purple lit building to the right is Jenners, the department store. The silhouette in the front of the wheel is Scott Monument (to Sir Walter Scott)
Apologies to those of you that have seen it already, blipped it or were planning to blip it sometime. I come in peace :)
Lets step back a bit or (zoom out)
See panoramic view- with Bank of Scotland on the left and Waverley Station roofs in the middle You can also see the Edinburgh Castle dimly lit behind Bank of Scotland and to its right
There are better angles. I was simply lazy. Besides I can blip a better angle another day :) One can't have too much of a good thing. Can one?
Thank you all for the hearts and stars yesterday and my recent blips. I am ever so grateful.
