I went to Brookfield Zoo with Laura today. Since we paid $11 each to get in, we decided to make the most out of it by visiting each and every exhibit. I mean, eleven dollars, come on! It was fun -- the weather was perfect, and we spent a good amount of time catching up with each other.

Even though my dad has lived near this zoo for years and years, this is the second time I've came here since I was a kid. I definitely take my proximity to this place for granted.

Oh, and today is my dad's 47th. Three more years until he's officially over the hill!
