Flooding

Today has been horrendous weather wise. We got down to the village this morning and the main road was flooded from one side of the road to the other as the burn had overflowed. Mrs Stearn, the school janitor was there watching out for kids walking to school to let them know. There were workers there to clar the water or blockage and it was going down so we made a run for it before any cars passed and splashed us. The kids thought is was brilliant.

There is a flood defence bridge here in this field, can you see it? Well at the back of it there is about 5 fields filled with water!!

It hasn't stopped all day.
