Charlies Farm

The heavy rain of last night, cleared early leaving a bright, blustery day, with showers and rainbows. Went out west to catch some wild seas, saw Black Shags perched on rocks just above crashing waves and some amazing clouds. My blip is of Charlies farm, a traditional farmhouse and a cluster of outbuildings,with a view over Bantry Bay, to Beare Island, the fishing port of Castletownbeare and the Beara Peninsula. I stayed dry, whilst watching the frequent showers across the bay.
This evening I collected eldest daughter Rosie and her friend Ben, they are home for a few days, lovely to have the house full of youngsters and their laughter.
