Rescue on the rooftop

I always used to wonder about time and effort of these simulated rescue exercises. I am now extremely grateful that there are those among the staff who are prepared to put so much time and physical effort into being ready in case they are needed. The UC Rescue Team were fantastic after the Feb quake and the months following - checking buildings and retrieving items.

This exercise involved winching "victims" down the side of our building on stretches.
