Meet Kevin
Brave soul that he is, Kevin followed every tenet of the Movember movement for 30 days. I don't personally know anybody else who did. So, a fortnight back, I pre-booked him for a photo shoot on grounds of exclusive access to him today. I may have also lured him with money (for charity). As you can see he did not disappoint. Go on see him up close.
Kevin is a software engineer, work mate of mine, inventor named on several patents (one with me) and a fine tri-athlete. He completed the Ironman South Africa course in 2006 in just under 12 hours and coached upcoming athletes around the city. Although, he couldn't quite get me to any level of swimming proficiency. That was my fault, not his.
He is a trained British Red Cross volunteer and first-aider, who regularly devotes his spare time to the community.
Unfortunately for many, he is also 'off the market' :) Married to my physiotherapist, and dad to two beautiful girls, who he helped deliver all by himself, his wife cannot wait to see him clean shaven this evening.
Kevin is really the all round good guy that most of us will only ever hear about. Now you've seen him. If you bump into him at some point, you definitely want to say hello.
Can I just say, "Thank you Kev"? :) ...for being a star and putting up with my faffing, while I tried to put into practice all the advice I have received from my blipmate jkj10
You may have noticed, today is also St. Andrew's Day, national day of Scotland. Hence the flag
EDIT: Completely forgot to mention "curry chef par excellence" to Kevin's endless list of abilities :)
