A Boring Day

Our Authorities are very generous.

They are allowing cavity wall insulation to be installed at no charge to the householder, so today the lads came round, drilled some holes and filled the cavity with polystyrene pellets.

I was concerned that, as we had had such wet and windy weather in the last few days, this would be an invitation to disaster but the morning proved sunny and dry - the rain came on when the holes had been filled.

Now looking forward to a cosy winter.
