Mrs. Mallard

We have grown quite fond of our 8 mallards that hatched last spring and seem to be staying around this winter! They are so friendly and visit us every time they see us either outside or standing at the windows!! I suspect they really don't care about us, it is the bird seed that actually makes them happy!!! But I like to think that they actually like us, as they will waddle over and come up over the rock wall and walk all over the garden and our inside patio...they don't seem to be very cautious and I hope this later doesn't lead to their demise. They make me happy!!
