CONCLUSION

End of this year's edition of Manipur Sangai (Tourism) Festival, 2011 after 10 full days. The ending is remarkably marked by a bomb blast in the morning at the gate of venue of the festival killing one person and injuring five others. However, the formal closing function was held without incident amidst tight security arrangement and joyous performance from our guests - the cultural delegates from Thailand who put up a good show.

Between cultural items - there's the much awaited indigenous fashion parade shown herewith.

Then it's farewell time to all who participated in the event and all hoped for the best in next year's edition.
